| I am going to start collecting the parts neccesary to install a T-56 in the wagon. I figure I have the rearend setup, and an aluminum driveshaft, and I can make my own crossmenber. So I just need the factory GM parts like a tranny, bell housing slave cylinder, flywheel, and cover, and aftermarket clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and F2B conversion kit. I will be replacing the engine with an aluminum headed LT1 with 87k on it. While the drivetrain is out, plans also include fixing, or just plain replacing the floorboards. I am starting to get excited again. |

I get giggly just thining about it. After driving Bill's SS , and Ron's RMS, I have been thinking about doing this. And your old wagon is perfect for it. - Matt Trakker wrote:

I am starting to get excited again. If you decide "not to" only thing i need is a alum driveshaft. | |

| Where is a good place to get the transmission, bell housing fly wheel, pedals, and wire harness? And who sells a cross member for the T-56? |

I looked at their web site, but could not find it. You have a link to the cross member. |

Robertson's Used Auto Parts in Wareham, Ma. Too lazy to do a search? 1100 bucks for the whole shebang. I've done it twice. http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/index.shtml They make the crossmember for Dan. I ordered my 4L80 one from them also. I don't see the T56 one on their site, but call them and I'm sure they'll have it. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams...
