| Last three weeks have been straight from hell, but I should be back a little more frequently.
Took the car up to the test and tune this saturday, and I wasnt verry happy with the results. On the street, it feels like I picked up quite a bit of power (especially up top), but it sure didnt reflect it at the track.
I didnt have any drag radials this time (on regular 235/70 street tires), so my 60' was horrible. I ended up with a best et of 12.3 @ 112. Its not horrible, and I picked up 1.5 mph, but my 60' was a 2.0 (opposed to the 1.7-1.8 I was pulling soft launch on radials). I was expecting to mph closer to 115...
I was really confident I was going to run 11.7-11.9 (and would have if I were on radials), but overall it was a crappy day. Felt like hell, track was PACKED and i was quite discouraged. But oh-well....thats the name of the game. I suppose I have a lot of tuning to do.

| I believe I ran a 17 something in my car. You should be happy you have the money and space to work on your car to do such a 1/4 mile time. I know I wish I did. | |

| Space....yea probably....
Money.....NOT! lol
All and all, including the price of the car and the two years I have been into it, I would estimate I am into her for between 6500-7500, which I dont think is horrible, sense I had to start over with the entire drive train lol. | |

| Wait... You were gone? Dude, it's your 60'. A tenth there is good for almost 2 tenths in the big end. Take off your skirt and throw some good tires on her and go run your number! _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams... | Sounds like you shifted your torque/HP peak (lost torque at the bottom, but gained more HP at higher RPM's). A friend of mine had a 67 Nova with a decent 327, good heads, cam, carb, headers, gears. Car used to run 12.2-12.3 forever with a single plane intake, and he decided one day to try a RPM air-gap dual plane. Long story short, he ran 11.9 first night out. It's all where your car makes peak power. I swore it would have hurt him since he had 4.11's, and short tires, but we were both waaaay wrong. | |
