Braided Stainless Brake Lines Empty
PostSubject: Braided Stainless Brake Lines   Braided Stainless Brake Lines EmptyThu Jun 03, 2010 3:12 pm

Hey guys,

I was curious what the going rate of the braided stainless brake lines are for the b-body's.

The reason I ask is that I am setup to manufacture brake lines (since they use the same inner ptfe linings as my nitrous lines and industrial style fittings).

If I could assemble a set of fronts and get a group buy, I would be happy to sell a few sets reasonably.

I dont think so....

I want to say that standard b-body and wagons used the same length front brake hoses.

They are 100-125 for the Russell lines with the 5th hose.

Earl's and Russel's are both $100-$125 for the full set of 5. That's hard to beat for time tested dot approved lines.

I'd like to see more places make up the actual hard lines since those tend to be pricy and hard to come by.

I would be in for a complete front and rear set. All of my brake hardware up front is new (calipers, pads rotors) I just need these lines.

If this gets enough support to move on, let me know, I'll jump in if it helps the group.
Already running braided stainless in the 96.

Did you ever figure out if this is a project you want to take on? I'm sure a few people are waiting on a sample run and some pricing Wink
