The Crovo Enclosure

So, for those of you who missed mod day, Crovo built a kick-ass subwoofer box out of the left rear storage compartment in the wagon. Its f'n sweet! I'm not sure if He's the first to do it like this, but Ive never seen one like it! Anywho, He gave me the template for it as I am going to build one for my wagon also. Well for mine, I want to make the storage door stay on there for super-stealth mode(my windows aren't tinted yet, no need for free advertising!) Heres what Ive done with the door so far..

With template in palce, this is where the woofer will be mounted


traced a square onto the back of the door, and cut(using a knife! Didnt have any razors..)


Below it, was another piece of plastic. started cutting it, this is the piece that the carpet is glued to.


And the two cut pieces are out, leaving glue and carpet


doing two holes, hopefully the sound goes through enough!..


Both cut out, glue taken off


Held it up to the light, goes right through! Shouldnt affect the sound!


Finished, front view. cant tell anything has been modified,


So, thats where I'm at for now. This weekend(or maybe if I find time one night after work) I gotta pick up some MDF board so I can trace the template and finish the box up..

Nice work, Paulie. I hope the sub doesn't rattle the door too much! LMK how it does as that's what I had planned to do to mine, too...

I still need to run the power wires and rca's and mount the amp. Maybe tomorrow...
