Corvette wheels 18" and 17"

So some of you may know I am an Internet Sales Manager at a dealership. Well, the owner has three separate dealerships. A large pre-owned where I work, a Mitsubishi store and an Isuzu store. Isuzu is no longer making passenger trucks so our Isuzu store isn't in full swing. In this dealership is a two bay garage with lifts where I'm gonna do some work on my car but that's another thread. He also has a bunch of wheel/tire combos in there. He called me up and told me to meet him there. In our inventory we have about 15 corvettes. So we have some spare parts. He has this set of vette wheels he asked if I could sell online for him. I asked how much he said to "get rid of them". So, what do you guys think they are worth? I might buy them, or offer them up for sale here or on issf. They aren't perfect but have great Kumho Ecsta tires on them. And there's nothing a little powder coating cant fix.

Did you use them? Trying to visualize them on my car. I would want them to be black it would be too much bling if I put them on as is.

No. I didn't. But Jim might have a matching set of those.

I traded for a set of silver painted ones, go figure. Well it's not like I'd actually keep them clean anyway. Hey I'm not too proud to run polished on one side and painted on the other (curb side) to get 17s all around.

Still, I might be interested if they are polished.

If you do some shopping you can get a good set of wheels for about $200.

LMK what you want and what size the rear tires are. I plan to start shopping for tires for the Camaro tomorrow.

Do you have pictures of these on your car?

I don't have any tires yet! They are too damn expensive.

These are for one of our Camaros (mine or my son's).

They should easily fit a sedan or wagon with adapters, I know there are some wagon owners on ISSF with vette wheels on their cars.

Is the damage to the rims neglect or a factory flaw?
If it is neglect I think it is sad that a dealership would have to eat a set of rims because of the owners inability to maintain their car.

If they are polished and clear coated like Crovo says, I could just strip off the clear and polish them up.

They are polished, I forgot to mention that in my other post. Just like the Impala SS wheels, they will look better once the clear coat is removed and they are wet sanded and polished back out, the center caps might need to be replaced but that is no big deal. If the manager wants them gone offer him $150 for them and see what happens, you never know.

I'm thinking more along the lines of, offer him $50 and see what happens.

Your still gonna need $250 adapters, plus tires (at least on the front. 245/45/17 is goofy small) and polishing. It's gonna start getting pretty expensive if you don't get a great deal on the wheels

The tires are in great shape. If I have I will lower the front to make the gap smaller. I will do the polishing myself.
