| wow, at first I thought it was a bit boxy, but that actually fits the rather blunt lines of the Buick interior nicely! | |

| bill you said to let you know when i got home. if any problems. happy to sat. none. its perfect. i couldnt be happier. with the console down. the shifter handle is the perfect height. so i wont be buying the round six speed knob. and im glad you talked me out of the tach mounted there also. and as you said we might want to darken it up some. guys this fits so good. billy didnt use any thing to hold it down. and the seats move with out moving the console. the best part is. if i should want to take the top off to redo. lift it right up. nothing to undo. perfect. | |

| You could just pick up a couple of "L" brackets at the hardware store and attach them to the 2x4 cross braces and screw it into the floor to secure the base. Nice and easy. Just watch out for the cross-body harness. Don't ask me how I know. | |

We already have the "L" brackets,( just didn't use them yet), and I set up the cross braces to miss the harness. And thanks for the compliments guys. But you all can thank Bill Crovo. I just copied him. Ron, I still think the white shifter ball with the shift pattern embossed in it would be the final touch, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C5-CORVETTE-SHIFT-KNOB-ZR-1-97-04-6-SPEED-WHITE-BALL_W0QQitemZ280408474404QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4149a5c324 and the white matches your car, and come spring, we can sand down the top and darken it. |

| That looks night and day different once installed in the car, came out fantastic- it just flows with the rest of the interior! The only thing I'd do different is make the wood a little glossier to match the fake woodgrain parts in the car, but all in all that's a personal preference and doesn't count. | |

| biilymac did a very good job. and i ruined the finish. so i had it sanded down to bare wood. and had to refinish. then i went with some of my ideas. like a power outlet for phone recharger, radar detector. installed my nitrous switch. and one other item. im keeping a secret. unless some one would post pics for me. not much of a secret is it. because i know some of you wont like it. any one want to post pics for me? lmk | |
