PostSubject: Die-Casts for sale   Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:05 pm

I have a couple 1/18th scale Dub City Impalas for sale. They have opening hood, trunk, and doors. They also have detailed engine bays, interiors, and even realistic fold-away mirrors. Both cars are also equiped with spinner wheels which I think are kinda neat, especially the wire spinners on the black one. I paid $20 each for them and that's about what they're going for online last time I checked. Make me an offer if your interested and I'll see what I can do. If anyone wants to save on shipping I'm heading north this weekend and could possibly drop them off along the way.

It's a deep red color with silver flames. Not as deep as dcm but deeper than the pic makes it look. And Crovo, I thought from the time I first saw your car that this particular toy would look good sitting in the rear shelf at a car show Wink

Just throwing this out to anyone interested. $30 for both if I drop them off or you pick them up. I'm open to trades too so don't be shy people.

Is it just the pics or does the bumper and headlight area seem flatter than our cars really are? More like a Volvo 850 or something...

I always seem to recall Dubs being pretty accurate models.

If it's just the pics I might be interested, not that I have any real cash to throw around with the garage and all, but we might be able to make something work....perhaps you need some parts? LOL

Doug

Are you coming by my way today? I'll grab the red one. Smile

(Even though I'm pretty sure I already have it in 1/24th AND 1/18th already!)

It's the pics. The details are dead on accept for the shifter being turned 90 degrees like a pistol shifter setup. Which I actually really like.

I'm not going through Nashua this weekend so I'll have to get it to you later Crovo. And if Doug doesn't want to break up the set Wink

Works for me. If you guys are taking them then I'll be more than willing to work some deals that don't involve cash since I'm planning on buying some stuff from you guys in the future anyway. I'm doing pretty good with this barter system lately so why not keep the momentum going Very Happy

So the red one is going to Crovo and the black one to Doug unless Crovo changes his mind in which case Doug gets both. And I'll deliver them to the next get together to save the hassle of shipping.

I'll bring these with me to the next group outing and drop them off with their respective new owners.

Crovo, next time you put in an order for shirts grab me one of them customized ones and we'll call it even. That way your not paying anything right away with x-mas coming and all.

Doug, I have a crapload of parts I'm still looking at getting so you can cut me a good deal on something pricey or throw in a few cheapy parts as freebies and we'll call it even. That way you don't hafta spend anything out of pocket.

Sounds good, I'm working on pulling the trigger on a 96 DCM SS rust box today or tomorrow, so I will have a couple complete cars to pull parts from, plus all the others... Wink
