| As some of you may know I am no longer working due to health issues. With a major reduction in my income I am looking for ways to cut back on expenses. Holly and I have three cars registered as daily runners, her Blazer my loaded 94 Caprice and a 95 Caprice 9C1. I am looking to sell the 95 9C1. I purchased the car on Feb 4, 2007 for $750.00 with a blown tranny. Installed a new GM tranny and converter. Car had 140K on the meter when I purchased, now has about 152K. 9C1 was a former turnpike car for the Maine State Police. Didn't like the light blue so I had a cheap $850.00 paint job, changing it to a dark blue. Daughter in law since put a dent in one passenger side door. Original hood, trunk deck and rear driver's side door had some major blistering issues so I replaced all three before paint. Installed new opti spark when purhased, new heavy duty battery, new front pads, bearings, seals, rotors and calipers. New police style winged wipers, replaced three major brake lines, new heavy duty AC Delco shocks, replaced radiator with a used radiator, new factory thermostat, sensor and relay, replaced window washer pump, replaced fuel pump and sending unit, new hood release cable, under hood light assy, replaced 4 broken window track guides, new gas cap, replaced positive battery cable, installed cornering marker lights. No body rust.
Now the bad: Dent in passenger side door, not really bad, State Police were to cheap to order power windows so she is a cranker! Open 308 gears. Small exhaust tic on the driver's side I had local garage fix it, but she started again. Not loud what so ever and about stops when warm. Dog chewed some of the headliner over driver's front bucket. Hood cable needs adjusting.
I have driven this car weekly to Boston for medical appointments with ZERO problems, does not use any oil nor leak any fluids. A great winter beater.
I want $1500.00 firm for the car. I have all the receipts from the day I purchased it. I must have at least 4K in receipts if not more.
Tell me what you think guys!
Respectfully, Larry | |

| Thanks for the kind words my friend. Without question I would drive this 9C1 any where! She has never failed me once I took care of all the issues she had when purchased. This afternoon I drove her to the Doctor's office and noticed I forgot to mention a couple of things. The A/C compressor shit the bed before I purchased her and there are I believe four small screw holes in the lower portion of the dash where a mike was mounted. Blue clost buckets and vinal rear bench. The green hoses are really nice on this one! As I stated I have all the receipts and records of work completed. Car is currently registered and inspected, title in hand. Today I noticed she had 152,3XX miles on the clock. Idles perfect, runs strong, no codes. Talk to me.

| After meeting Larry at the Fall Roundup, and seeing his Impala and how he built that, if I was in the marker for one of these, I would buy his without batting an eye. You can believe what this man tells you!

| Wow, that is a lot cleaner than the descript. made it sound. If I had the room and cash I'd come take a look. If work keeps up like it has been the last couple of weeks, and the car hasn't sold...who knows... | |

| you were a little bit quicker then me on this. i was getting the money to pay in cash. larry gave you a good deal. good for you. gotta love pay pal. larry (gunny) is the best. any one who retires as a master seargant from the marines after 20 years of service then goes into cumberland county deputy is a person to be respected. and hes one of us. ive been lucky enought to have listened to his stories. | |

Tom, put the seats on the rails from the caprice and leave them manual. Oh yeah, the seats you stole from me, I forgot to tell you the motors were burnt out. ha ha. Tom C.

| You can take my power seat rail when I get a manual one to put into my car. That's assuming I manage to track down one that doesn't involve shipping from Maine. The motors work fine and you can take the wiring connector too if you need it. The only issue you'd have is that the controls on mine are on the seat bottom and not the door. | |

I would like to get the door controlers out of a Caprice, ASSuming that the wiring from the roadmaster would mate to the caprice controls?
