96 roady wagon Empty
PostSubject: 96 roady wagon   96 roady wagon EmptyTue Oct 13, 2009 12:50 pm

Been a Roady wagon on the side of the road next town over for a year or so, ive looked at it twice, frontal damage minor, some rust, other than that not a bad car.

I met the owner today, 230k miles, cosmetic front end damage, and the tranny dumped all its fluid on the ground. He told me his boy hit a car and his insurance co couldn't find parts to fix it so he just parked it. New tires with 800 miles on them, said it runs like a dream.

I asked if hed sell it, he said yes for repair only, won't sell it to anyone for parts. I said well id fix it and either run it or sell it.

Anyway, he wants $1000 for it, way outta my budget, and i'm not sure its worth it. I told him if he wanted to fix it i would be glad to sell him some parts on the cheap from one of my parts cars, and he could find a tranny pretty cheap somewhere. I think he'll take me up on it, sounds like he really loves the car.

Just thought if pass on my bbody for the day story.

Let me see, front end damage, needs tranny, rust and 230K. Is that guy dreaming? At most that thing is worth $300, that's why it has been there for a year without a buyer.
