| So what is it? You parked that crashed caddy out there & it attracted the vultures looking for color matched parts? Or...youre just becoming a legend? _________________ Steve 96BBB 28K 3.42 Bolt-ons 95BBB 100K 3.73 383 New DD...already broke fixt the 4L60E twice 95 Black WB4 Hole...ee...grail 96 Black WB4 No holes in this 95BBB 189K 3.08 Old DD Stolen...by Matt. The crashed caddy is actually getting a lot of attention. I used to have the front facing the road. Ive had about 5 people come knocking on the door asking my wife about it. Everyone wants to buy it for some reason. The Roadmaster sedan is my sisters. She wanted me to find her a good car and of course I am biased. 1995, 140k. Previous owner had it since less than 20k. Put 1000 miles on it in the past 3 years so decided to put it up for sale for $2200. I got it for 1800. New tires, cold AC, limited car. Real nice. The crashed caddy is a 1995. 107k.. got it for my sisters boyfriend as his Hyundai Accent was falling apart. Got that one for $1500. Very clean 100% rust free Georgia car. He wasn't paying attention and rear ended someone at a red light just 2 months later. Now I have a very clean parts car. The entire blue interior will be swapped into my white Fleetwood as the interior in that is beat. It will also donate some patch panels for it. Trans for my caprice, ac system for my wagon. It is repairable, the frame and front bumper were untouched, but I dont have the desire to fix it. Or the need for another car. Found him another Fleetwood. This one is not as nice. 1994, 175k. But, runs and drives excellent, new tires and cold AC. got it for $1000 last weekend. Same color combo as the last one. My caddy has a rotted brake line so it went out to pasture for a while. I dragged it back out front. Tomorrow I'm bringing it to work to start on the brake lines, interior swap and rust repair. Been daily driving my wagon. Transmission went a few months back. Replaced it with a used trans from a 50k mile Roadmaster sedan. I have new centric rotors, calipers and pads here for it. I also have a set of 20" american racing wheels and 255/35r20 tires waiting for it. On order is steering rebuild and ball joints by moog and severe service shocks. THATS MY STORY | |

| Also, I have a new job. We do classic car restorations and specialize in metal fabrication. I am learning a whole lot. All of our restorations get stripped to nothing, everything gets sand blasted and then coated in epoxy primer. Then they go on the rotisserie for metal work. We barely use any body filler and when we do its not to fix rust or dents. All rust gets completely removed and replacement panels / braces fabricated in house if not available for purchase. I am basically a swing man I do everything and anything to help keep the shop chugging along. Check out . Last week our latest project came in. A 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum. Sitting in the original owners garage for 34 years with only 45k miles. Besides a little rot in the lower rear quarters, this car is SOLID and 100% original and complete. We have a waiting list for cars to come in and more work than we know what to do with. I regularly work 50-70 hours a week. I hope to get my Caprice in the shop next year, pull the body and do a frame/suspension and floor restoration.
