| Holy Smokes!! They're on sale!!! No kidding, grab a set before they're all gone!! Second Gen 9C1 rear lower control arms. It comes as a COMPLETE KIT!! Here's what you get: These IMO are the absolute best and easiest installed improvement to your cars handling you can buy for under $50!! At that price I might buy a set just to have them for my next B-body, lol! | |

| 1 kit comes with 2 arms?
Also, would this fit wagons?

Also, would this fit wagons? The kit consists of what it pictured. I don't know if they fit a wagon, but probably don't because the sway bars are not interchangeable with sedans and coupes. My knowledge of wagons is limited though, so you might want to research it farther.

| Those I think will fit a wagon, but the wagon's rear arms are further apart at an angle for some reason, and the factory bar won't bolt up without fabbing up some adapters I think? That's why a lot of people use the Crown Vic bar on the wagons. I may be doing the CV bar on my 74 Impala because while A and B-body arms are the same and I can just use the newer B-body arms or anything else like that, the 71-76 rear bar is kind of a pain to find, and when you do, you have to crawl under a car that may have wild animals and piles of their turds underneath it. lol
These are the "recall" arms that GM came out with toward the end of B production to replace the old style attachment hardware because people/police departments had some issues with them I believe, however I don't think the old style is much worse either...they were used since the 1960s...adding the factory bar and attaching hardware makes a huuuuuuuuuuuuge difference for sure over stock with no bahhhs.

| Sooo pretty much the arms are to attach a sway bar, no improved design for any other purpose? Then I don't need them, already have a CV bar on the wagon. | |

| $56.67 shipped. That's a hell of a deal for discontinued TSB parts.
I just ordered a kit since I used the ones from the 9C1 on the Rustmaster.
I know I can get after market to "upgrade" but I like to have stuff just in case and its cheaper than tubular or adjustable or whatever. Wouldn't matter on a skirted B or a boxy B anyway. Stock length is fine plus sway bar brackets!
I just ordered a *special order part from them last week. Good communication and customer service. They gave me a bit of grief for wanting to change my shipping address since I forgot to change it on PayPal. That was shipped today after some more emails. But, they've got some hard to find stuff.

| Hmmm. Got this email this morning. I was able to check out indicating in stock items.
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your emailed inquiry to www.GmPartsDirect.com and the opportunity to earn your business.
10280922 rear axle lower control arm has been discontinued and is no longer available from GM. You maybe able to locate one from an aftermarket source, or salvage yard.
Thank You, Jason | |

| Correction to the above. The part number in the email I received is the complete wrong number/part. Not sure what the guy was talking about then. I was able to check out like I said, so we will see. | |

| Yeah, that's odd. Maybe that's the part number for the arm only, and the kit includes that part number along with all the other stuff? But then you'd think the kits were all put together and boxed up... | |

I'm not sure. If you google the part number 10280822 they put in the email, not the kit number I ordered #10289786, click images for the search. It makes NO sense. The web search states its a control arm. I asked Mike if he could look it up at the dealer. He said the only kits in the GM dealer search are located in Canada. So, I'm assuming that's where GMpartsdirect.com is seeing them. Mike did confirm 10280822 IS a control arm. Here's the last email I received after noting the part number discrepancy in the other email... "Hello Brian, Thank you for choosing GmPartsDirect.com and placing order number 463990 with us. We do not have part number 10289786 in stock and it is a special order, non-returnable part. The parts that you are trying to order is a special order parts which means we will have to order the part from GM and the site states that special ordered parts could take 7 to 10 business days but normally does not take this long, you will be receiving an email confirmation once your order has been shipped. You will be able to log into the website to get the tracking information once your order has been shipped. * (asterisk) indicates a special ordered part, as this is displayed on the web site prior to the order being placed. Thank you, Jason"

| Got mine via UPS yesterday. Finally got the chance to open the box up. Of course, it was when we had guests (I'm rude like that) and ended up having to explain what they were and why I wanted them lol. Everything seems to be in order, all sealed in factory GM wrap. I ordered these on 2/27 before being told they might not be able to locate the kit. Excellent customer service tho. I'll give them that. This kit can be had on eBay as well, but with shipping I think it was twice the price as it was on this site. In the end, do I neeeeed them? Nope. Are they a good B body parts hoarder item? You bet! | |
