| Hey Guys,
Anyone got a set? Al or iron is fine. Assmbled is preffered. Don't need rockers or pushrods.
Looking for a drop-in motor for a 96. Needs to be in good running condition. Looking for complete, oil pan to intake with timing cover, doesn't need to have valve covers or water pump, etc.
Let me know what ya got.
Thanks, Bill | |

| I've got one in my smashed up 96 roadmaster. It has 79k original miles but it has a small oil leak, the water pump leaks ( but I have a 50k mile water pump I pulled off of a buddy's firebird that didn't leak that I will include), and it's hard to start in the mornings and seems to be down on power so I am 99% sure it is the opti. Could just need wires or perhaps the egr tube is clogged.
Its in the car I drive every day so your more than welcome to come drive it to see if the motor seems fine to you. I may have a tow pack caprice lined up to purchase so I would be able to let you have the motor as soon as I get the new car.
I would be happy to help you pull it but I do not have the proper tools so we would have to do it at your place.
Also if you would like you could pay me what the motor is worth plus what my local scrap yard is willing to give me for the body and just take the car. Again it's 79k mile car so there are some good interior bits and a rust free exterior. If I had the space and tools to part it out I would.
Make me an offer either way. If you want to call me my number is 508 769 5080. | |

| I really want to pick up the caprice ASAP so I am going to list the motor and trans for sale. You have the right to first refusal though. | |
