Very cool. Hope its 1000hp.

This has got to be the most hyped remodel I can remember... Good for them.

I have a friend with tickets to the unveiling... He promised pics as soon as he can get them, I will forward spy photos as soon as I have them.

I hope it doesn't look to much like crap on the front.

I saw a pic of the front end somewhere, I will see if I can remember It looked very Ferarri-ish.

Why does Chevy want the Camaro as the halo car?? You can see it all over that car in the pic. Nice looking but looks like a hybrid between Vette and Camaro.

It's a 2006 design of the Camaro (new), and you see it in EVERY CAR now.

Time to be original and the Corvette IS THE HALO car.

Period.

Kinda looks like a nissan gt-r to me. If this is the actual car I'm a little disappointed.

Chalk me up to the "not digging it" crowd as well. A lot of the recent Vettes didn't do much for me from the get-go, however. Something about this car does not say "Corvette" to me. And yes, I know it says "Camaro"...lol

I really, really hope thats not the final product. It may be more actractive if the performace #'s are good!

THIS is exactly what I was talking about. some cars have distinct lines or features about them that when removed it's just not the same car.
I haven't liked a corvette since the stingray stopped being produced, but even after that through the ugly 80's and 90's it still looked and felt like a vette at least.

This car definitely has a foreign vibe to it. Like if a 2010 Camaro knocked up a Jap car this would be their baby.

I have a feeling if that IS the C7 and they aren't too far into the process this could be a Ford Probe scenario. When they wanted to make the next Mustang the Probe, people flipped! If enough Vette fans get upset then maybe Chevy brass will pull the plug for that design.
