Pillars blacked out. Amazing what a difference it makes.

For me this is a big change, what do you guys think? I kinda like is but I kinda like the way it looked before. I will leave them on for a bit to see if I can get used to it.

I think without tints the white pillars look better. But if you tint the windows, the black pillars will be pissah.

I think the black looks better either way on white Bs, I knew I was going to do it as soon as I bought the car...

I don't know....still on the fence. Only got one side done, and I keep looking at it. I can't make up my mind. But I almost think I may leave it white.

Tint the windows and keep the pillars white. $.02

I used black vinyl. I don't know, I'm looking at Crovos car and it looks very classy with the tinted window and the white pillars. Not to sound racist but my car is just too white for any black

Don't paint them, use vinyl applique so you can peel it off, or Plastidip. haha.

I think there is a constitutional amendment that states all 1991-1996 B-bodies that are all white shall have black door pillars. Look it up.

The black pillars look cheap, like we didn't feel like wasting paint at the factory to paint that small part. Black pillars look "unfinished"

No, just some people like the black, and some like the white...lol

I will say it depends on how much black and white is all over the whole car. I had/have black wheels on that car, the black grille, etc., so it looked good and when I did it people commented on how much better and different they thought it looked...Rob's car is like all white with some chrome...soooo

If it was a caprice or 92 occ, they'd be black. But the Roadies have the raised C pillar that breaks the chrome outline. And when you black those out, it looks like total ass. Just google pics for tigeraids wagon...

While I don't think that looks like total absolute "ass" I do agree, but I think that might look cool with JUST the B pillar area blacked out...to give a Buick hardtop wagon effect with the windows:

looks real good with tinted windows, heres my moms wagon with 20% tint and black pillers

Well, I took the black off. Been staring at it for 2 days, I just didn't like it. You were right. The white is classy and finished looking. If I ever get the windows tinted I may check it out again. Thanks again for all of your input guys as usual I appreciate it. Oh and here is the one thing that I did to it that I really liked from the second I put it on.
