| Anybody know off hand exactly how the big quarter windows come out of a wagon? And also how much comes with it? Is the trim part of the glass? Thinking about doing something stupid and just wanna see if it's gonna be a pain or not to remove the glass.

It's a real pain in the ass. The glass is part of the rubber trim you see around the glass and comes out as one piece. There's a series of nuts around the window on the inside that come off, then you have the glue to fight with. The glass is held in with windshield urethane. I have heard of several methods for removal, hot knife, piano wire and heat gun. The heat gun sounds the easiest, have one person push from the inside while somone else heats the trim and eventually the glue should let go. Needless to say I tried to remove them on the rustmaster before I scrapped it and ruined both trying

| I guess this is a YODA mod then (do, or do not... There is no try)
I'm headed to the yard for quarter panels maybe I'll spent some time practicing.... Any BS with the interior trim? Headliner has to go or can it stay?

| Headliner has to go. C and D pillar plastic have to come off. That metal strip that the rear cargo panels goes into comes off once the window nuts are removed. Maybe you will luck out like I did on my Caprice. Someone tried to remove one of the rear windows before and cut 3/4 of the glue for me. I got the rest off with a razar and so far that is the only window I was able to save. | |
