| Does anyone have a Class III hitch for my 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon? A class III hitch from any Roadmaster wagon or Chevrolet Caprice wagon 1991-1996 will do. Marya | |

| Where are you located? I have a hitch on my wagon that I'm not sure if I want to use or not. How much are you looking to spend? | |

| Hi, I am in Germantown, NY, close to Hudson/Kingston/Poughkeepsie etc. For the right hitch in good shape, around $ 200. What do you think? | |

How do I know it's a class 3 hitch? It'll have a 2" receiver. Class 1&2 will have a 1 1/4" receiver.

| Does it have a 2" x 2" receiver? Sometimes there is a label indicating the class or the rating (= lbs).

Yeah, the class 3 would have a 2x2" receiver. Anything less will be a class 1 or 2. The 3 is the very hard to find hitch for the wagon now. Oddly, they still make the class 2.

| For future reference for interested parties, I had saved a Class II hitch from my '90 Electra wagon. Just installed it on my '94 Roadmaster wagon and it fit perfectly. Just had to enlarge four holes on the rear bumper support, to accommodate the larger rear hitch support bolts (This also had to be done on the '90). It also has the advantage of providing the heavy-dutiest backup gas tank straps you'll ever find! | |
