The weather is pretty good right now and thoughts turned to car shows and cruises, so here is a short list of close and not so close shows for the coming year. We can add cruise night information as it becomes available. Please feel free to add to the list with anything you may come up with. Cruise Nights:

I'd love to go to the Factory Five Open House.

I really have nothing worthy to enter this year but I can take a time out from the project to oogle! So thanks for the list.

I bet by the end of the month the calendar will be updated.

Factory Five is a good take Bill. The tour is of the main building including the fiberglass body shop and the frame/suspension shop along with final kitting. They even give out free hot-dogs and drinks. Of course the sea of Cobra's and GTM's are cool to check out. Last time I was there they had a portable Dyno set up for people to use (for a nominal fee). -Joe

Ive been going to the Mansfield one for years. 2 full days of fun in the sun, or rain. there will be no cars for sale section or car show area this year, but there will be plenty of cars to look at in the vendor area which is HUGE. Always a nice turn out. Lots of unique and vintage stuff not all automotive. Who woulnt want a robot made out of used propane tanks???? Every year I say Im gonna buy a spot, and i dont. This year included. Ive got to stay consistent.

I am most likely going to the Fitchburg Airport one if anyone plans on hitting it up, it's fun, I went two years ago. You get there early and all the cars are up and down the runways, it feels like it's the first show of the year and really gets you in the mood!

I go to Amherst NH to the swap occasionally too, so hit me up if anyone goes...

As far as cruise nights, this year I'll probably be hitting Liberty Tree Mall on Wednesdays in Danvers, and Kitty's Restaurant in N. Reading when I can on Thursdays, and other assorted shows if they pop up...

On an unrelated note, how about we set up a show that we go to as a club? I know the Bud brewery failed a bit last year but this time I would get out of bed Just a thought for another club thing to do.

Cruise night here in town at the Moose Lodge #1849 244 Fuller Road, Chicopee, MA 01020. Thrusday nights, 6-9. Should be starting end of April/First week of May. Normally about 50-60 cars and bikes. Band, food, bar, etc. Free to enter and walk around.

SUNDAY - Seekonk, MA - Bay State Street Machines cruise night at Sam's Club, 4:00-dusk. Older crowd that tends to leave early; big turnout unless there's rain in the forecast anytime during the following week.

TUESDAY - Pawtucket, RI - Slater Park, 5-8. Usually on the small side, but a real laid back crowd.

Just an edit to the one I posted earlier. Chicopee, MA Moose lodge 1849. Starts May 17th and runs every Thursday. 6-dusk.

Also, Knights of Columbus council #69 in Chicopee. Starting May 16th and runs every Wed, 6-dusk.

They had pretty good fried clam dinners, and a LOT of nice cars showed up.
This year, I'm off on Wednesdays, so, , ,
I will be looking out for club events during the last 3 weeks of Oct and the 1st week of Nov, my vacation pick.

Yeah, I heard that too- Supposedly, the show moved to a shopping center not too far away...but not sure. I liked that show, a lot of people showed and it spread across the street into the other parking lot and everything...

country brook cafe in kensington nh (rt. 150) is hosting country brook cruise nights every thursday night from 4pm-8pm

On Fridays, there is a cruise at the parking lot for Skybox/Papa Gino's/Big Lots (I think it's Big Lots) in Tewksbury, MA...it's on Route 38

On Thursdays, there is a cruise at the Irving station in Candia, NH just off of route 101 on Route 43. It's not far from Car World, they try to stuff a lot of cars in there too.
