Mike
Did you buy these? How are they? My stock springs barely hold the car up. Add a cup of coffee, and it drops like a rock.

So when you put that boat motor in you must have scraped the frame clean. Wink

I have these in my wagon. It "raised" it from 19 with the original stockers to 22" in the rear. That was when I had 225/70's on it too.

You have no idea how bad it was. Surprised My sig pic is wrong, because with the newer engine, the wheels are too forward on the trailer causing it to teeter totter. In that pic, there is less than 10 lbs of tongue weight. I just adjusted that to bring 10% of the total weight to the tongue. About 120 lbs.

So they jacked your wagon up 3 inches? What the hell would they do on a sedan? scratch study

I have a set of these in the lowmile project. Gives it the stock height without the air shocks or air bags.

How do you guys running these like the ride? I have the TRW variable rate cargo coils in my Impala, I had them in the last one too. The rear departure angle is so long that the tailpipes would scrape everything. For some reason on this yellow one the ride seems stiff and bouncy, but I feel like something else might be causing it, the springs currently in my car were IN the last Impala I had, and swapped them in place of an identical set just to see if the ride changed.

So far, mine are giving me a lower ride. But that's because they're still in the box and weighing down the old springs Razz

I think these *are* the tow pack springs. When I bought mine these were listed as the optional "variable rate" spring and then the stock ones were a separate part number.
