| Nope. For me. It's what LSx motors were designed for. | |

| FOUR GRAND! that's when I would stop thinking about it and get something like an 89 formula to drop an LS in! | |

| Yeah, but for $10-$12G's total investment, what else are you gonna be able to buy that would come near it in performance and handling? | |

And instant death on collision! You forgot that! Point taken though, then again I feel like it's too much power and it would be all over the place in the handling department. Are there videos to prove the great handling??

| Not a fan. But it would be sweet to see and sick to drive. I would just buy a box Caprice or late 70's Impala and drop that motor in and use it to drag. | |

Thousands of autocrossers can't be wrong. And with the all aluminum LSx, it's only 40 lbs heavier than the stock 4 banger. And the added weight of the Ford 8.8" rear, about 40 lbs also, keeps pretty damn close to the factory weight distribution with no adverse affect on handling. - boojum wrote:

A C5 Vette? Close. But I bet this outhandles it. - MASShole9C1 wrote:

Going in a straight line is boring. Especially after you've gone through the twisties a bit. Give me a car that handles over a straight line killer any day.

That's the way I look at it. I figure if I can get the Caprice HANDLING pretty nicely, I won't be too broken up over the TBI 5.0 in it for now. That Miata is sick...427 Cobra redux...
