| ok I need to know if this is the correct tool to remove the quick connect fuel lines were the rails are?

| That's the tool for it alright, although I think I had a scissor one like that and it was junk, I have the small one with the rubber band now and it's never let me down. | |

UGH! Do NOT buy the scissor one! It will bend and snap as soon as you try and use it! Quick disconnect my foot! I tried doing a fuel filter in the cougar two years ago with that and I ended up late for work and the filter is still in the shed. Long story short, don't waste your money! | |

| what size are the lines? are they 5/16 or 3/8? if i only neeed one size id be happy. | |

| I got mine at advance almost 4 years ago still using the same one. On ls1/lt1.com it says you need 5/16 AND 3/8 two different lines, but that's BS cuz I hbe one tool and it works on both lines. Maybe buy the 5/16 and just keep it opened a little to do the 3/8 line, the whole set is like $10 I think. | |

| Just go to auto zone and rent a fuel line disconnect kit. You pay $15 then when you return it get your $15 back. It comes with both sizes needed. | |
