| Despite the lack of space, I now have a fleetwood to add to my ever growing collection. Its a 96 Black\black Broughm. Needs tires, cats (someone cut them off), and an axle bearing. Car is in good shape overall and has 223k. Am I out of my mind, yes.

I'll be happy to take the 1A2 off your hands. I'll do a partial trade for the currently undrivable '93.

| I have had that 1A2 since 2009 and it is nothing but awesome! Sure it has no options except heated mirrors, vinyl seats, crank windows, but its just so damn cool.
Picture fail until tomorrow when I drop off the rest of the cash, it decided to start pouring as soon as I got there. I can't wait to see how this thing rides, I love the rid of my RMW and have to imagine this somehow tops it.

| Does anyone know what was option on the broughm? This one has heated seats, full roof, but no tow pack. I intended to run the VIN through compnine tonight but was deeply saddened to see a message saying they closed shop forever! Oh how many times I have used that site. | |

| Im pretty sure all fleetwoods between 93-96 were considered broughams. ...... The heated seats were an added option. you had order with roof delete (like mine).
.... most without roofs were sold as fleet vehicles (livery services).
.......... other options were the rear vanity mirrors, factory sunroof, keyless entry (like you got) , garage opener, memory seats, chrome rims. padded seat covers (d'legance package)
As for tow package ..... I thought all caddy's were equipped to tow.

The 7,000 lb (3,200 kg) trailer towing package you want is RPO V4P, and you will see this on the parts decal on the underside of the trunk lid. This package was available on the 93-96 Fleetwoods and it's return to the Gen 5 Fleetwood in 1993 was something not seen in a production sedan since the 1971-1976 Gen 3 Fleetwood. The RPO V4P package included heavy duty cooling (RPO V08, which consisted of a 7 blade mechanical fan and an extra capacity radiator), RPO FE2 Suspension System Ride Handling, HD 4L60 transmission, RPO KC4 Cooling System Engine Oil, RPO KD1 Cooling System Transmission Oil, RPO KG9 140 amp alternator, and RPO GT4 3.73 gears with an 8.5" ring gear in 1993, then in 1994-1996, the V4P package was revised with RPO GU6 3.42 gears with and HD 4L60E transmission with unique ac***ulators to shift smoother with the shorter rear axle gearing.

| I'll have to see what codes it has. Took the vin in hopes of getting it decoded but that went no where. What I do recall seeing is no mech fan, has an external trans cooler, rear lighted visors, regular alloys, trunk pull down. When the door was open the security light was blinking on the dash, I guess it has the security system too then. | |

| I think that on the 93+ cars, the "base" if you could call it that was Fleetwood, then the top of the line was the Brougham package which included stuff like the rear seat flip down vanity mirrors and other niceties.
Dude, compnine is gone? That SUCKS!!!!! I loved that site? I decoded every single vehicle I could get a VIN to on there just for the hell of it. My Blazer was "one of three made" just like it, my brother RMS is one of two...haha.

| Not all 93/96 Fleetwoods were Broughams.. Broughams were the top of the line package I guess, most with vinyl roofs and rear vanity mirrors n such. You could a standard Fleetwood with cloth seats and, no rear vanity mirrors, no auto dim rear view, etc.. | |

| Its been done to those buicks before. There is at least one around with a 3800 supercharged and a 6 speed. The supercharged engine drops right in but needs some modding to make everything else work. I'm getting hungry just thinking about the BLT | |

Yeah in more ways than one! I think it would be an awesome car to rip 11 second ETs ate the drag strip!

| Another day, still no car. The DMV won't register it until I get proof from his bank that the loan was paid off. Nothing can be easy when it comes to car registration. | |

| Haha! That Blazer just shows how much this guy pays attention to his vehicles! I hope the fleet cleans up to be much better than that! Looks like you need an exhaust system huh? TBH The fleet does look to be in great "diamond in the rough" shape! Just have to get on it quick! One question....where do you plan on putting it? | |

One question....where do you plan on putting it? Diamon in the rough sums it up nicely. At least there's no rust that I can see yet. I am going to need some cats right away for it, stolen for scrap metal . The propery he has reflects what you see in the mess of cars in the pics. He bought this thing new somehow and let it go to shit, which I could never do with one of my cars, let alone something I paid almost 40k for! And parking.. Well I have a few going away for the winter into storage and then come spring I'll make a real decision what to do

| Sounds like this car is not happeneing. A co-worker knew someone who worked with financial institutes who was able to get me some info from the bank of the status of the lein on this thing, and its not good. One payment was missed for a whole $104. The guy never paid it and interest piled up over the years to around $700 which is what is owed now. They have sent this guy several certified letters and have gotten no response from this guy. He mentioned they are going to be issuing an order to repo this car in the next 30 days. Even if it did get paid off they wouldn't release a title for 90 days. So that looks to be the end of this venture, now I just gotta get my money back on it. The seller called me on Friday and said he can give me my money back if I want to back out, so I'm gonna take him up on that and see if he actually produces it and before it gets repod and he thinks I picked it up. The only possible hope in this whole thing is this guy mentioned I can submit my info to the bank to get first dibs on the car when they go to sell it.
Lesson learned, hopefully I get my money back now. Who would have thought these problems would exist on a 15 year old car.

| It is a sweet looking ride, even better in person. I knew it before it was monsterhood-ized. For that asking $, I'd buy it in a second if I needed a ride (winter or otherwise) | |

BUT...for the record, your 100% correct, that IS a standard requirement
