PostSubject: Caprice with RMS bumper cover   Mon Sep 12, 2011 5:28 pm

Im looking to see if anyone has a picture(s) of a caprice sedan with an RMS front bumper cover. Not with the roadmaster grill. Its obvious that the RMS grill fits with the RMS grill. Im looking to use a caprice/ss grill with an RMS bumper. I know Anthony (laidlow) did the whole shebang with the entire front clip, but Im only looking to try the bumper. Thanks

Cool, thanks! I know the caddi front wont be a simple swap due to the trim level. So, its either this, overpriced smoothies, or an occ bumper.

ok so your going to need to use your imagination here a little
but i think youll get the idea.
the bumper cover in the pic is a spare i have, so if youd like to try it out lmk.

its not perfectly aligned, but im pretty sure there will be a gap here permanetly.

the back pin and clip/nut thing line up in the back.

left finger area would need to be drilled to allow the other pin to come through.
right finger just needs that clip/nut moved to the left where my finger is.

hope that helps a little.
without a couple extra sets of hands i cant get a picture with the caprice hood and grille
to show how they would match up.
my guess is youd have to modify the grille a little for a stock look.

It looks like it will work close to what I'm looking to do. Where would I have to modify the grill? I would guess the bottom. If so, I've got a bullet proof idea for that. Thanks for the time you put into taking the pics. I really appreciate your help! Next step is to get a cheapo, decent shape, bumper cover.
