| Why do so many people in the world not here you guys seem to have respect, but everyone dogs the 4.3l l99. you always get this. " You cant do anything to a 4.3" " its a weak motor" rip it out and out a LS! in it. well frankly STFU about it . i am happy with my l99 and it does run side by side with the 5.7l roasts the tires everywere. And i believe i am officially done with the other forum to many snobs on there with nothing to do but complain about answering questions. If ya dont want to answer a question dont read it it simple. Sorry if i sound like im complaining but it get aggrivating when all you want to do is learn your car inside and out. i have been working on cars since i was a little kid so i sorta know what i am doing and will be ASE certified soon. and i cant belive it I didnt drop a single F bomb today lol | |

| Dont bother. I tried asking it once. I own an LT1 and an L99. The l99 gets way better gas mileage tho | |

| That's why a lot of us came over here (and wagon guys went to the long roof forum). There's too much BS at times on the ISSF. I never drove a 4.3 before, but just picked up my first 305 powered wagon. Going from only having LT1s to a 305 is a big difference, but honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. If your happy with how your car performs that's all that matters. | |

| I like the 4.3, and you can juice it up pretty good. Its not LT1 status, but it will do pretty good. | |

not trying to be a dick, and not saying you where either. but its kind of funny how 6 posts after your rant about everybody dissing your small motor, you then turn around and dis a motor smaller then yours and then tell him it needs to go. he never said gm used HIS v6 in a b body. and fwiw i would take Dans v6 powered b body over a l99, lt1 or ls powered one. just my .02

Dans car originally came with a v8. and was replaced with a v6 from another car. the front end is off a roadmaster sedan. bolts right up.
