 | Subject: Wagon lowering springs?? Thu Feb 10, 2011 6:47 pm | |
| Looking to lower then wagon about 2.5" front and back. Would like a little bit of rake to it, and decent ride. I don't want to cut springs, I'd like to just buy new. Hoping to spend $250.00 or less on the springs.. What's my best option? Thanks guys..
Btw i was considering Canuck Motorsports kit.. 190shipped.. But I've never heard of them before.. |

| pothole?
On a serious note, I have nothing good to contribute, just trying to help keep it on top. Although perhaps pothole performance would be something to consider...

| When researching different springs for my wagon, I found that RM springs rake the car a bit higher in the back than Caprice springs. Maybe go that route and use SS springs in the front? |

| Haven't we done this already? I like my Hotchkis/Vogtlands. But to get a rake with a wagon, you will probably have to trim the fronts a bit. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut 04 CTS-V -The Big Bad Wolf- 500RWHP, Maggie, Kook's, Magnaflow, etc... 95 White WB4 "GS" -The Marshmallow- Lotsa stuff done, lots more to come... 00 Sierra 2500 ECSB -The Big Slut- H2's & 33's, TB crank, CAI, Magnaflow, Cowl'd, etc... 94 Miata- Project Cone Killer- Manual everything. | Nah, I have the Hotchkis in the SS and the Vogts in the wagon. But I thought that they were both made by the same company. I read that somewhere on teh interwebs. I still have the rear air suspension though, so it has a little rake. It'd come down another inch or so in the back without it. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut 04 CTS-V -The Big Bad Wolf- 500RWHP, Maggie, Kook's, Magnaflow, etc... 95 White WB4 "GS" -The Marshmallow- Lotsa stuff done, lots more to come... 00 Sierra 2500 ECSB -The Big Slut- H2's & 33's, TB crank, CAI, Magnaflow, Cowl'd, etc... 94 Miata- Project Cone Killer- Manual everything.
