If you want "good in the snow" I personally would'nt put a wider tire on. I'll PM ya some prices later.

| Seconded on that.
Also, highly consider a set of new-take-off wheels on eBay. I got 09 Tahoe/Silverado Z71 wheels with brand new Bridgestone Duelers in 265/65/18 on them, shipped to my house, for what it would have cost me to buy 4 new tires and have them mounted on my 16" wheels, lol.
I would put 285s on the truck. They fit this body style with no rubbing, you might need a very small crank on the torsion bars. Skinny tires are better in the snow, but with these trucks it doesn't make much of a difference in my experience when you have 4x4. I wouldn't put wide tires on a plow truck though if you have one on there.
I got a great deal on Discount Tire Direct before too, then sold my old tires when they still had tread on them. A lot of times these websites have 70 dollar-ish rebates on Michelin, BFG, etc. Free shipping on DTD as well.

| Bobby Head to Pepboys of Nashua. Definity Dakota A/T2 265/75/16s or 285/75/16s Buy 3 get 1 free after rebate.
I have used these tires, and my brother inlaw runs them now. We have nothing bad at all to say about them. They wear well, and are quiet for a all terrain. They are great in the snow. Very similar to the BFG A/T at a much better price, and perform better as well. |

| Sheesh, we almost need a 2 door Blazer/Tahoe/Yukon section on here. Looks awesome!!! I LOVE those tires, and I didn't realize they were still in production until last year when I found them for sale online. They're supposedly pretty nice for what you have to pay for them. My stupid BFGs I bought in 2006 or so cost me about 800 out the door. The Wrangler TD was the factory tire supplied all the way back in '92 and the design is still the same. My spare still has never been used in my truck and it's one of those, a 265 one. I will probably find a nicer set of the original sawblade wheels someday and put a set of these on them, then run BFGs on my newer wheels. I like the knobby tread and they make the truck look more "correct". You can even see them in the factory literature: 95 Tahoe 92 Blazer 93 Blazer (I like this color combo) | |
