| Just to let you folks know, Larry Jr's youngest daughter, Abby, has been at Maine Medical Hospital for the last week. Only four month old Abby was born with a heart defect and recently came down sick. Laid off from work and his youngest daughter of five gils hospitalized he still counts his blessings. Either Larry or Jess is with Abby 24/7 as she has a super team of Doctors looking over her. I just spoke with Larry about one hour ago and he advised me that they can not operate on the baby's heart until they win this battle. Being out of work I asked Larry what Ma and I could do, his reply was, "please say a prayer for the baby". I ask you my friends for the very same, take a moment and mention Abby in your prayers, it help.
Wishing you all a wonder and safe Christmas.

| Tell Larry I'm thinking of him and hoping for the best. How about an address so we could send cards or something for morale support. | |

| I will get Larry and Jess's mailing address for you all today. Last update I had was after 1 this morning. Abby had a difficult evening, for one thing she was able to pull her feeding tube out which had to be put back in place, that didn't go over well. She needs the feeding tube as she is unable to hold anything what so ever down for ten to fifteen minutes.
I want to thank each one of you for your kind words and prayers. It's so heart breaking when it's a child. Larry is understanding life much more by going through this with Abby. As he recently asked me, "Dad I don't understand how in God's name you and ma made it when we lost Misty Renee'".
I will keep you all updated on her progress as I KNOW our prayers are working and she will be on the road to recovery soon!!!!
I thank you all Larry Deputy347K9

| Hi Larry this is Joy here, I hope all is going better this morning. We also have another baby there for the same thing, our friend Courtney Korhonen is there with her 1 1/2 week old baby girl. Perhaps God is going to double team them. God is going to work a miracle for both babies! I know I am a Christmas baby and god did the same thing for me forty seven years ago . Our babies there have so many people's prayers and good hopes nothing bad is going to happen. It is the power of possitive thinking . If there is anything we can do or anything that you need, please do not hesitate to call. | |

| Just spoke with Larry and Jess, Larry is getting ready to go home for several hours as he has been at the hospital all day yesterday and last night. Jess is there now. The baby seems to be resting more, at least until they wake her every couple of hours to feed her through her tube. They can not operate on her heart until this bout of sickness is over with, so we are looking at January for that portion.
If any of you have a moment would you be so kind as to send a Christmas card to Larry, Jessica Cote and family 166 New Portland road Gorham, Maine 04038
Of course Larry was questioning God this morning, wanting to know why! I told him it is not fo him to quesiton God and He will answer all of our prayers.
Again thank you very much. Larry

| We spoke with Larry this morning, seems Abby had a very dificult night due to the lung infection. With labored breathing the Doctor's gave her more medications that seemed to calm the breathing somewhat. This morning she is resting a tad better. With love and prayers she is going to turn around!
A couple of cards have started to come in as I posted about the baby on the Impala SS Forum as well and another Impala Forum. A simple card can make such a difference, when they receive cards from some that they have never met, showing thier love and support it brings a smile to thier face.
I thank all of you for the prayers and cards, God knows you are making a difference for one little baby and caring parents, and an aging grumpy grandfather.

| I start by thanking each and everyone of you for the ever so kind words, support and prayers. The power of prayers and great friends support you makes a difference.
Speaking with Larry and Jessica about one half hour ago there was no real change in Abby's condition other then, she appeared to be resting easier with the early morning hours. Her white blood cell count is very high but the Doctor's are working on that too.
Does not look like Abby will be home for Christmas but that is OK with me as I don't want to rush this. I want her to receive the best care 24/7, she as every child deserves this.
Jessica is planning on being home Christmas eve to be with the girls for Christmas morning. She will then relieve Larry Jr who will go home and have Christmas with them. I will spend Christmas day between thier home and the hospital.
It's so difficult when there is nothing you can do to make her all better. If it was only money I would sell everything I have in life.
Well enough ranting, I promise to update you all just as soon as the GOOD news arrives.
I have received several messages regarding cards being sent, Texas, New York, NJ, Canada, MA, NH, Maine, NM and CA to name the ones I remember at this moment.
Thanks to all of you for you prayers. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, hug them children and tell them just how much you love them.

| Nearing two weeks now that Abby has been in the hospital, the good news is TODAY is the first day that she has been able to hold down any type of formula! Great sign. Also she is starting to wet her pants really good, I guess that is also a good sing!
Her heart surgery is scheduled for January 28th!
I am going to spend Christmas eve with the girls at home first then the oldest granddaughter and I are going to the hopital so to spend time with Abby. I think I will then take her out to dinner before going home.
Jessica told me they received 9 Chrismtas cards just yesterday. They were so happy with them, just to think people they don't even know was sending their prayers for the baby.
Thank each and every one of you and I do wish you all a wonderful Christmas.
As I get more positive info I will pass it on. This has become my crutch, thanks.

| As Chrismas eve is upon us, Larry Jr is staying the night at the hospital with Abby. The good news is he has been wheeling her around this afternoon and she has held the majority of her food down for two days now. Infections are under control and she continues to wet her pants like there is no tomorrow. This is so great! Further blood work was completed this evening and she should be going home very soon if she continues her come back. She will be home until her heart surgery on January 28th.
Speaking with Larry Jr and Jesica they wanted me to take the time to thank each and everyone one of you for all the cards and help they have received. Ten more cards this very day!
On January 31, 1992 I lost my sixteen year old daughter, Misty Renee', you never get over it, you deal with it. I have been so afraid for the last two weeks for my little Abby. It is support, love and prayers from friends that keep you going, and you folks have been there for us. I thank each and every one of you and pray you all have a wonderful Christmas, I will now.
