Are Roadmaster and Carprice wagon doors all the same from 94-96 ???? Reason I am asking is that i found a 94 caprice wagon that has better doors and tailgate than my 95 roadmaster wagon, i want to get the caprice doors sprayed and was wondering if my doorpanels and switches will go on direct fit without any hassle?

The doors and tailgate can be interchanged, but you will have different front mirrors.

If they are identical, the caprice is not a 94, it is a 95 or 96. The 94's are like mine in my signature. They are on the door skin and are smaller than the 95's & 96's. The 95's & 96's are not on the door skin, they are in the front corner by the window. Look closely, you will see the difference. Everything should be interchangeable but just with different mirrors, not that big of a deal.

It must be a 96 or 96 then, it does have the same mirrors as mine in the corner, the junk yard that saved this wagon for me must have the incorrect year. So it should be a direct swap then ????

Hi Justin

Direct swap! One tip: make sure you get the door panel clip removal tool. It's about 7 or 8 bucks. Those Roadmaster door panels are very fragile and they are very hard to come by. On the Roadmaster there are 2 screws on either end of the door pull and there is also a phillips screw on the outer lower edge by the pocket. Do not force anything, take your time. Ask if you need!

One other thing Justin, on your old doors, take off the mirrors. They are worth $50 each.

All b and d-body front doors are the same 91-94 And all front doors are the same 95-96. The rear door is where things get interesting. Just talking wagons, all roadmaster wagon rear doors, and 91 only OCC doors have a plastic sail panel added. All 91-96 caprice rear wagon doors and 92 only OCC are the same. As far as tail gates are concerned, all gm wagons 91-96 share the same tailgate.
