I saw it go down to around 5K and I figured that was the number that would make it worth grabbing for someone, esp. knowing that it sold for more...didn't expect you though.

Funny thing is, twice after Jims link, I started to PM Crovo to get the straight scoop on the car.
Then twice I remembered I have 3 & no place for another and stopped.
Might of had to put it at the Wiscasset Hilton until Matt takes delivery.

Hey Guys!

Sorry for the delay in getting back here. Hell day at work. Just got home. Ugh.

Anyways, yes. I bought it back. Kid messed up and got into a wicked financial bind and I was happy to help him out of it. Or exploit his hardship. Or something. Whatever. I got it back.

But I am NOT keeping it. I bought it back to re-sell it. I am not going to even register it. Once I fix what he messed up, I may get 20 day plates to shake it down before I list it for sale, but that's it. It was fun driving it home, but I still don't want it anymore.

It's got a few issues it didn't have when I sold it. The rear main seal is leaking and the clutch is completely toast. Probably covered in oil. So I'll have to replace the seal and put another clutch in it. Probably a flywheel, too, cuz I'm sure it's got some bad burn spots in it now. If it didn't, it did after the ride home last night! And the interior lights don't work anymore. And the power mirrors are inop. And the subs don't seem to be working. And I think the body has a few scuffs on it, but I haven't seen it in the daylight since I got it back...

Wife is ok the purchase with it because we bought it to flip it. I appreciate your concerns. We'll probably use whatever profit towards her Tahoe. Her Caddy is for sale now. And she IS driving the truck.

I'd be willing to sell it to anyone here once it's fixed for the same as I sold it before... $7500. Otherwise it's going on the big board and eBay for substantially more than that.

So that's mah story, and I'm sticking to it.
