| I was talking about this at the roundup. It's just as bad around here. You'd think with all the unnecessary tax revenue that the state of MA collects, via gas taxes, property, redundant tolls for roads that were paid off decades ago, we'd have roads like the ones in New Hampshire. | |

| How about all the trucks getting pulled over here in Pawwtucket? If they go over the bridge and dont take the detour off of i95, they get hit with a $3000 fine. They pull over probably 10+ trucks a day for the past 2 or 3 years. Wheres the money? | |

| Whenever I drive the '93 down here, I think I have something loose in the suspension, but it's the SS wheels and tires pulling me around on the bad roads...up in New Hampshire the car rides, handles and steers completely different.
I gotta put my skinny whitewalls back on!

| Who are you kidding? Are roads suck just as much as yours. However, I can't speak for RI but Taxachusettes just allots there monies to stupid shit....like taking care of everyone else and not there roads. Also you'll see that Mass has to have Staties working the paving details wher NH will have Jed the town drunk holding a sign. | |

Last time I was in NH there was roadwork going on and I thought the guy holding the sign looked a little rough.

| They repaved a large section of 128 in my area, put up unnecessary sound barriers, and redundant signs to let people know it was due to this "Reinvestment Act" or whatever. The road was fine before they did anything... They also replaced a bridge on Route 1 in Danvers that had NOTHING wrong with it! They've been working on it for over a year now and just got to the second part of three. There's another bridge not a mile away that has partially collapsed into the Ipswich River that hasn't been touched. | |

| Sounds about right. We have a couple roads near here that have been under construction for ages. Meanwhile other roads look like war zones and there are underground pipes that are obviously leaking. Someday they'll fire the union guys and start putting the unemployed to work on this stuff and we'll see the roads all get fixed in a week. Same with the traffic cops that arrest traffic. I'd rather have a blind guy with no arms direct traffic at a construction site. At least then you have a chance of getting through there without getting hit by a bulldozer. | |

| I am willing to bet that in each one of these road projects there is at least one person telling someone else "Hey ____! Slow the F down, don't kill da job!" | |

| Hey, easy on the union bashing. Some of us work. And the unemployed could always GET one of the union jobs... | |

| Buddy of mine ripped a 4" hole in the oil pan of his Integra Type-R going too low and too fast over a speed bump. Left a trail of oil all the way down the street. Even the ricer kids that fixed it thought he was an idiot | |
