Honestly, I'd pass on it. You can grab an old Camaro for less then you're looking to get out of your car. Especially once you start haggling with club members Last thing you need is to get it home and find the things needs a new top put on or something.

those are super rare. 305 only though. GM did not want to put a 350 in in fear it would flex the car too much. I think they did come with a standard V6 in the RS package. 2.8 or 3.1. I can not remember. A friend had a 87 red IROC Convertible with TPI 5.0. Sweet car.

I would however stick with selling yours and getting a vehicle more suitible for your needs.

I've seen a lot of them in junk yards with 2.8's but they may have switched before the end of the third gens. I'm not sure either.
