| My wife and I headed out to our daugters graduation party this morning over in Berwick Me. The ride over was uneventful. Had a great day with the family, and a few of Phylicia's friends. The drive how however was interesting. A couple in a lowered honda civic came flying up behind us. We were doing the speed limit and that was not sitting well with the civic driver at all. Infact it seemed to anger him. I told the Mrs. "Look in your mirror, this guy is pissed". We are approching a light where the road opens into two lanes, and I know where the cops sit along this stretch, But the first light is red, and don't you know the little honda jumps into the other lane to get past grandpa and his station wagon. So we are both sitting at the light, I look over and start laughing at him. This does not sit well with mister hat on sideways. Light turns green, and he punches it and gets me out of the hole. 150 yards later I mosey up to the next light, having not gone over 20 mph from the last light. This time it is my turn, and again I look and laugh at him again. Light turns green and I pop out of the hole and I am gone. So as I wait at the next light about 1/4 to a 1/3 mile away, this punk gets next to me and said F U A-Hole. As he said it, the light turned green. I did mention that I know where the cops sit. So as the light turns green, he jumps out of the hole and is gone. Phyllis asked me if I was done, and I said yes. So I rolled past the civic with the cruiser behind him doing exactly the speed limit, and went home. We are still laughing about it now. What a knuckle head. Kids. |

Doug Yes that was me too. Doing a burn out in my 5.0 mustang. I decided it would be cool to do it in a crowded parking lot. The two cops sitting at the entrance did not think so. BAM! $248 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT JUST LIKE THAT! |

| Living where I do, I have to deal with this crap every day. Same exact set of variables! Fortunately on more than one occasion, the same thing happened as what happened here... | |

| There seems to be the same gaggle of assclowns that always pull this stuff endangering everyone else. I see the same under 5 year old Sentra SE-R about 4 times a week on Route 1 with the big soot stain already around the tailpipe because the kid "driving" it didn't realize he'd burn out the rings flooring it and downshifting constantly to weave in and out of 3 lanes of traffic.
I've recently taken on doing what Billy did, and visibly laughing, or even making weird faces at them. I stole the idea from my friend Dave, he drives a Wrangler so he almost never instigates ANYTHING (when have you ever been tailgated or run off the road by a vehicle the driver is afraid of flipping over?), but when people start to give him crap, he always does something funny to lighten the situation. | |
