| Would one coat screw up headlights? Almost everything else on the car is black so I figure why the hell not. I just don't want it to affect the headlights at night a lot. Input? | |

Hello! McCfly! The covers can come off for night driving, and the niteshads can't. |

| Even Niteshading your backup lights creates a problem when backing up, so I wouldn't recommend it for headlights...lol. I'd look into the clear aftermarket lenses with the smoked backing areas for that look. | |

| if you have access to basic paint materials and a gun mix some clear coat then add in a little black mix and spray coat by coat till desired darkness that's how i tinted my tails it also just cleans em up and gives em a shine. I almost threw my tails out untill i tried this now they look brand new
nightshades garbage even if it came out looking alright with in a month it will look like every civic and integra with patchy tails

It did work good and never faded though, however clear with the drops of black like mentioned is the best way...

It was hard to find the paint, I checked 2 hobby shops I knew of and wound up getting it from eBay instead of wasting more gas. Haha.

| I found out the hard way that Walmart down here no longer sells model cars or anything related to them...some other stores too like Toys R Us. I think it's some stupid ass MA state law that went into effect, I can't think of any other reason. I have seen model kits at Michaels and places like that. | |

| if i was going spend money id just buy some acrylic plexi at home depot and mold it over a whole assembled headlight (marker and headlight attached to headlight frame) thats how i made the inner marker light covers on my headlights. i have a few rough ones actually from when i was making my headlights.was toying with making one piece setups but i wasnt feelin them | |

Thread jacking coninues... ...I just bought a '62 Impala coupe Model at the S. Attleboro Walmart 3 nights ago...jus' sayin' I would just go with the smoked euro setup. I run them with 6k HID's with zero problems. A definite plus over OEM lights with clean stock lenses
