Ask Crovo. He has Gary on speed dial. |

| Dammit, this car is like 20 from my school..... Where's Crovo I found his CL ad. I emailed the guy. I'm heading up to school on Monday so maybe I'll make a detour and check it out. My brother is determined to get a b-body this summer and he's hooked on an OCC or a 9C1.... | |

| Yeah, that's Gary Meier. He lives in/near Schenectady(?) NY, I think, over near Albany. Not too far from me, even. And the 92 is the year to have! You get the vista roof AND the Caprice side glass! Love it! | |

| I was within striking distance of Gary's today, so gave him a call. I wanted to look at his Z28 clusters and radio's with ports. He does it all.
Anyway, I saw the CC that Bill M. posted a month ago. I told him I would post pictures for him on BADASS, he knows quite a few guys. If I was looking for one, this is a nice CC wagon--$2000 for members. It is in real good shape. I'm surprised he still has it. He says he has had a few tire kickers but not even a deposit. It runs great and looks good.
Someone snatch it up, I might even try to sweet talk the Mrs. if no one else does.
Tom

| Umm yeah. I've already been up to look at it. I'm giving him a deposit on it as soon as I get my paycheck. The only reason we haven't brought it home is tbhat we are in the middle of closing on our house. I would hope no one snatches it from us. | |

If you want that car, you had better put a couple of hundred down on it to cinch the deal. If you don't your just a tire kicker. He has had that for sale for over a month, someone is going to come along with green and it will be gone. Gary has got a pretty good network of friends in the B body community to say the least. You can't expect him to hold it just because you looked at it. And you can't expect someone not to buy it if there is no deal on the table. Why should they loose out and why should Gary loose out? It doesn't work that way!

| And like I said. The car would have been bought and sold if it were not for the fact we've been tied up closing on our house. Not only that, it's difficult to get a deposit out to someone when you havent seen a paycheck in 2 months and you're waiting for it to come in. And he has been holding it. I've been emailing him since I looked at the car. He knows my story and the reasons why the car isnt gone. He's been a stand up guy thru the whole process. I'll be giving him a deposit, probably by Monday. You don't know the story. He isnt loosing out. He's being very fair and reasonable and I commend him for that. But what is going on with the car is between me and him. No one ever said there isn't a deal on the table. I already alluded to the fact that I looked at the car earlier in this thread. I'd have hoped he'd have made that clear. | |

| Didn't you say the car was for your brother? How's that effected by you not getting a paycheck? | |

It is for my brother. But since I was the one who looked at it, I was going to put the deposit down for him since I go to school up there and once the closing on the house was done my parents were going to pay the balance and that will be his birthday/christmas/ whatever else present since he's turning 16 this August. Like I said to Tom. Gary and I have been talking since I saw the car. He knows the story and why the situation is what it is. Both he and I would have loved to have the car sold by now but things just diddnt work out in our favor thru no fault of either of us. Until tonight he and I had the car "on hold" in good faith. But now it seems I need to prove it with cash. Which I will if I have to.

Nope. My father ended up in the hospital then. He stopped replying to my emails and calls nor have I gotten my deposit back.
