how many roadmasters on this forum?i wanted a impala ss but when i bought my roadie they were higher than hell.i wanted one bad.but im getting old. and most ss were driven for what they were made for. speed and handling. so ill go with the same platform from gm. b-body lt1. package. mine rides better then my lincoln. maybe faster? i bought lincoln new in 2002 last year they made the conti. i sent that ecm to brian herter to have flashed.removed speed limiter.firm shift, moved rev limiter up a couple of hundred more.now all this is a stock 4.6 32 valve ford.in tech v8. this is a fast stock car.but i dont like fwd. unless you switch off traction control you dont do any thing. i wanted to step on it yesterday when i left. it would have had you looking.but im getting to old.ok now im going home. cruise set at 80. middle lane some times passing lane. bear with me now.im passing line of cars im a retired driver trainer,im watching both mirrors.front and rear.hear comes a nissan on my rear bumper fast. nissan which one altima? or big brother maxima? so i keep my cool hes flashing his head lights. im going 80 he wants to pass ok ill get out of your way. i punched it they were gone. i looked down speedo showing 115. whoa. time to coast. maxima good for 145 mph stock?2002 lincoln conti stock 120? god i wish i could get over this speed thing.oh he gave me the thumbs up.ps note here ive lost my liscence more then once years ago. last one 1982. fastest car i owned was my 1968 camaro z28.

I think that's great that even in your age you still punch the pedal down! Very Happy When I looked at the pics of your roady with all the mods done I was suprised but I think it's awesome! Can't wait to see you go down the track with that thing!
