Cool Engine

OK well I couldn't make the Mechanical/Electrical replacement work because I couldn't find a spade to fit the very large Maxi Fuse. So I tied the 14" Jegs fan to switched power, to get the car running. Now maybe someone that knows what range the temp gauge runs can post the numbers if they know. But historically the temp in the car was Always was a tick over having the needle pointing straight up and down. Now it sits about an 1/8 to 1/4" past the then Cold Line

What kind of car and year do you have? If the fns come on to late, engine damage can accure. If they come on to soon, you will loose efficientcy and mpgs.

While I know too cool has its draw backs its still better then too hot. I am still getting heat, not sweat your butt off heat, but its warm enough for me.

Does anyone know the range the temp gauge represents? Was thinking of grabbing a temp sender/fan trigger before next winter. I am thinking the extra cool might be nice to have in the Spring Summer & Fall

Like I told you, those spades are available at a GM parts department, that is where I got mine.
