| I know it's a low voltage reading in the drivers side pre-cat o2 sensor. I've cleared it 3 times keeps coming back, usually a cleaning of the air filter gets it to stop, at least on my other caprices. Any specific ideas though on cause or cure? Inspection sticker is overdue and it's a 96. | |

| Just a guess here, but do you have an exhaust manifold leak on that side? Thats the only time I saw a code on my 96. Cant remember which code it was tho | |

Does the "tick" go away after the engine warms up? If so, Check for broken bolt on that side. | |

| Just so you know, '96 shouldn't have to pass emissions anymore as of this year, however I don't know if a Check Engine light will fail you just for being on? | |

| Wait so I won't have to pass emissions??? Shoot here come the mods then!!! BTW it was an exhaust gasket, cleared the code today, I now however have a po300 random misfire and flashing Ses light, so a tune up it is! And while I'm at it, it may get paint and dressed up. | |
