| Does anyone know the deffinitions in tunerpro for a 94 caprice l99 4.3l? I want to raise speed limiter from, 107 to 120 and any little tricks you can do to get a lil more juice out of it.Also can you watch what the engine is doing with this? | |

| There's this cool trick called an LT1 swap..
Seriously though. Why do you need to raise the limiter? Speed limits 65.

| yup, swap the l99 for an LT1, you'd go from 245 ft lbs of torque to 330 ft lbs. did it to my 94 I had last year.....seriously you wouldnt believe the difference. if you've ever owned any other caprice's... and none of them had LT1's... then you've never truely driven a caprice before. wont settle for anything else now... its not hype its fact! | |

That's illegal sir! Although I will say that I can personally vouch for a stock engined L05 Caprice having the ability to run 135MPH.

| there are a couple reasons why i am not dropping a 5.7 in. 1, it cost money that i dont have and tuner pro was free. also its free. plus i had a 305 in my last caprice and we had it pumping some decent power, so in a 4.3 it can be done. | |

| pretty much all the basic bolt ons in the L99 are those from an LT1, headers exhuast intake, then when you have cash if you wanna swap for an LT1 then you have all the boltons already, I didn't have many bolt on bits, but I switched everything from my L99 car tomy roadie and it saves cash doing all over again. | |

Although I will say that I can personally vouch for a stock engined L05 Caprice having the ability to run 135MPH. its only illegal if you get caught! ......... i ran my 9C1 up to 136mph before i ran out of open highway, and it felt like it still wanted to go.... ( as i kick myself in the balls for selling it.... d'oh!)
