| I was hoping to save this car, but MAINE is a bunch of assholes at DMV. So i have no title, so she will be torn down. The new seats for my 96 9c1. My 9c1 is manual seats, not sure if i will change the whole harness, or just make them manual seats. The door panels are mint. The rear quarters are very nice, car was undercoated. The floor pans are rusty from sitting for 2 years. | |

..... NO TITLE? ....... Do you need a title to sell or reg. it in Maine ? Interior is mint. The kept it pretty good, the carpet has a rip on the drivers side. To register, Maine requires anything 95 and newer to have a title forever. Not bad for $250 for the whole car minus engine. New tires 2.

Looks like it just needs a JY motor to be a great driver.

| I wouldn't sell it, the interior alone is worth twice what I paid for it. | |

| A solution?
Can you ask the favor of someone (here) in a nearby state that does not have such a fascist DMV.
They might handle your paper work for you, so as to "transform your car into existence" (in their state) to a "Maine-Compliant-status", and then you would "buy" your car back, legit'-like. -

| I'd offer to help title it here, but NH REFUSES to issue a title for a car 15 years or older. They don't require a title, but if you want one, you are shit outta luck, too. Idiots.

I could do it glen. It would just take a call to the insurance company, trip to the DMV and less than $100.

| I'm interested in the door panels. That is, if I ever get my 9C1 cluster back and swap it in. The woodgrain on these panels is the same as what my dash bezel is so they'd make a nice match. | |

| Well the seats went to a good cause. 96 9c1. Before after. Came out pretty good, the seats are not perfect, but work very well, and are 10 time more comfortable than those dang 9c1 seats. | |

| Hey Glen, do you still have access to that car? I need the drivers seat belt, I broke it so it won't retract now. It's getting a bit annoying now | |
