| Took most of the weekend but i finished installing my shifter/console. It's only mounted not wired or connected to the trani yet. Mod day I took a couple of pics they didn't come out very good Rain all day and it was getting dark . Cars been on jackstands for a week.new shocks etc. Got everything but the wheels back on and then spent an hour trying to find the lugnuts . They were in the trunk under a rag Took it for a drive rides great. I kept reaching for the wrong shifter.. | |

Tom Nope that's the 9c1 rubber floor taken out of my 94 9c1. I know a lot of you are not fans of the rubber floor. But i love it .wipe it off spray it with armor all.and it looks brand new.No worrys about spills no damp carpet smells. I was a little worried about it holding in moisture.but when i pulled it. The floor boards were spotless. | |

| Subject: Shifter Install Progress. Sat Apr 04, 2009 2:58 am | |
| Tackled the trani brackets for the shifter/console install today. Went much easier than i thought it would. Had to disconnect the column linkage to install the new revised bracket. I was a little worried about not being able to get it back together and adjusted correctly. Took it for a test drive and it shifted fine except it wouldn't go into low 1/2. Got back underneath and realized the bracket in the middle prevents the trani from going there. Thought it might be a 9c1 thing.I don't know if i've ever put it in low as long as i've owned the car. I got looking at the comparison pictures of the 2 brackets and realized they have a differrent angle. I may just take the bracket off or see if there is room to move it back. Not too worried about not having low 1/2. So i'm almost ready for mod day.Only thing left to do is the hole in the floor, wire relays and install trani cable. I included a picture of the front bracket if anyones interested. This is the one peice that you would have to weld/ fabricate to install a blazer/bravada console. Mine came with the console i bought. The mounting brackets for the shifter you could make yourself. | |

| rip that brackett off Mark, it was just used to prevent an officer from hitting the shift lever while in high speed pursuit down into low when hanging up his mic, or donuts. | |

| Mark That console looks factory. Could you get me a wire diagram to connect the brake shift interlock. The last time, I just removed it from the shifter. |

| Hey, yeah, so uh... I just grabbed one of these for the Marshmallow today. I got everything involved, including the wiring, shifter, front and rear mounting plates and the complete cable. Is that everything I need? Will the S10 cable work on our car? They're both the Same tranny... I know the info is probably out there.... But there's a lot of stuff that won't work on the internets but will work in real life. I figure since there's a couple of youz here that have done it... Well. What's up? | |

| Bill I think the cable is the same .Take a picture of the 2 ends and i'll tell you for sure. With the wiring did you get the relay? The brackets on mine are just home depot items for 4 by 4 post.Patio building etc Bill Mc could probably do the little welding needed. Check out the cardomain i linked to earlier.Everythings there. It's a little easier to decipher with parts in hand. | |
