| Shrader valve is on back side of intake. Try taking a rubber mallet to the fuel tank and see if it starts. That will tell you if it is a fuel pump. Could be a bad ground too. You should be able to hear the pump prime with when you turn the key to the on position. I have never had one, you can't hear. |

| Not sure why but the pump in my caprice gave up priming. Sometimes it does. But if it sits I have to go under the hood and self prime the pump and it starts right up. Otherwise it just cranks and cranks. Give that a shot. Check your grounds at the coil. | |

But i've never seen a fuel pump not work, work, not work, work. WTF...
I had a TBI pump fail but was working after I dropped the tank. F'n TBI. I had a LT1 pump not work and I reversed polarized it and a couple years later it's still working. Guess it's been more than two years: http://www.inegma.net/mb/index.php?showtopic=5635&hl=polarity&st=0

Does this use a primer solinoid? My 94, i have to squirt gas in the TB to get it to start now, then its fine.

It improves or eliminates all issues with the stock set-up. http://www.racetronix.biz/customkititems.asp?kc=RFPK%2D004&eq= Read what they say on the site to understand what and why the kit includes what it does. Everyone I know who has upgraded to this stuff gives two big thumbs up!

| Well sat night at 6 I got pissed and push this car up to the garage, jacked it up and hauled the tank out, pulled the pump assembly, and found the pump wires and connecter fused together. I had to go out and rip apart another car in the dark for the wiring for the pumps as they were melted so bad I couldn't get them apart.
The car I took the other unit out of was a running car, but the fuel line ends were junk, so I dismantled both units, and used all the good from the two, layed on the cold ground for 3 hours, got it back together, f'n thing fired right up.
Now it's got a skip. I'm goig to have to work on the opti and plugs next.
