| The place I work, the owner has a 94-95 Z28. It has a LT1 with blown head gaskets, and no radiator. But it is a six speed car. Now for the price. You can buy the car outright for $750 or $500 for the transmission only. So incase you missed this at anypoint Jim. That is ($750 for a complete 6 speed car). I would buy it, but I am $750 short. |

| Call Doug (Pooge) He said he was possibly going to drive to Jersey to get a car exactly like that just to take the drivetrain. If he has the cash you'll save him a ton of trouble. | |

'94 F-Body optis do cost something like $693.45. So it would be like buying the opti for $693.45, and getting the camaro with six speed for $56.55 |

| OK, thanks.
If the mileage is reasonable I'll take it.
If it's in fair condition I'll junk/part mine (less drivetrain).

If it's in fair condition I'll junk/part mine (less drivetrain). The car is in less than good condition. the radiator broke and the engine overheated, and killed at least one headgasket. The undercarrige is rusty and the rear quarters have dents, the battery won't hold a charge, and it has 138k on it. It is worth the money for the transmission, pedals, bell housing and so on. I would buy it if I had the money, and pull what I need off and part out and scrap the rest. |

Thanks Brad, I don't want to step of Jim's feet since I saw this late, but if he does not go for it I am all over it, like white on rice.

| I'd like to get it. I really appreciate you waiting Doug. Bill you have never taken a close look at my car have you? I just got the last of the drywall screws out of it this spring. Edit: Oops, '94 optis are only $395.95 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACF-10457702/ The conversion kits are like $1281.13 but you do get a new cam, | |

| I bought the Camaro. The good news: it appears that the previous owner was a non-smoker the left fender isn't scratched too much the pedals light up | |

| I think maybe LEDs or regular bulbs. The wires are cut so they don't actually light up. And they have flames!
I'll sell 'em cheap. Want me to put them aside for you?
How about a skull shift knob (no LEDs)? Forgot about that. You'd be 2nd in line on this item, someone else aready expressed interest.

| I always tried to avoid the ricer cars since they were usually butchered, but if your going for the trans and guages then it's a great deal that you got. Keep us updated on what you do with it. | |

| The plan is to take a sawzall to the car. Don't try this at home! We have experience doing this kind of job. The only nonstock items were the pedal covers, shifter knob, steel wheels (with snow tires) and radio. This car would not have been my first choice but the price was reasonable. | |

| You do know that the drivetrain can be taken out of a whole car too right . Just remember that the parts you don't cut in half can be sold later to someone else | |

| Note to F-Body owners:
You can't use too many drywall screws.
Be sure to cut all your audio cables so the next owner can't use them.
Glue your shifter knob on so it won't come loose, evar.

This is also a Honda Owner thing...sometimes those body kits don't fit right, so you need to pinch them in a bit.

| Well now I wish it was a '94 insetad of a '95 I'd have a chance at a spare opti. Apparently the $400 opti just died in my '94. You know the only car we have where the AC marginally works. edit: Wow do I feel dumb. The new Camaro is a '94 not a '95. 1/2 the intake is missing so I never gave it a second thought that there was no opti vent harness. I thought sure they told me it was a '95. | |
