Don't I know it. Thats the next thing I need to save up for. Already plan on 35% on the front windows and 20% the rest of the way around.

| Nah, that's too dark. 20% is good. I love it on my cars. And I can still see at night. | |

| I like 35% all around, that way your ok with the tint Nazis for the front two, and it looks even. |

| Stop being a pansy and weld sheet metal over all the windows. Then put the hearse plates on it and call it the "panel van of death" Inside it should have shag carpeting on the ceiling and a small bar to serve drinks named after dead people | |

Only way I'll be able to pull the car thru inspection with 35/20 is I can flash my funeral directors license and they'll let it pass. It may eventually have a stretcher in the back so I wanna make it as dark as I reasonably can. - bammax wrote:

I like it. On a similar note, if I ever get my "dream" hearse, a '62 S&S Combo car, I want to get a vanity plate that reads "LSTRDE" (Last Ride)

| Yeah, 35 isn't nearly dark enough. Looks barely darker than factory tint when all the windows are that way. | |

Exactly. My buddy just did 35 front/20 rears on his Forester and 20 is just right imo.

| Already had the conversation with a Statey about the 5% THEY DONT LIKE IT. $250/window if they write you up. Coupled with blacked out tails, it screams HAVIN A BAD DAY?...PULL ME OVER Every time I see one now I drop the windows. 5% coming off due to winter cuz I cant drop the windows then. PLUS it sucks at night. Tricky when backing up with windows up Sucz tho cuz it looks really good blacked out | |

I think it looks great. Look at the marshmellow to see the non grain look. I really like it. How bout you? Now that I know the %#'s I need to see it again to decide on what I'm gonna do. - toomanytoyz wrote:

I LOVE that pic. EVERY TIME I see it the young guy in me tries to break out & suggest I paint that scheme. - justinlamb82 wrote:

Thanks. And I agree on the non grain look. After roundup, thats my next project. As much as I still kinda like it, I think its gotta go.

| Once you get into it, there's no going back. Make sure its your opinion. Much as I like the clean look the wood has something going for it. Hope that helps | |

| So you're saying you like the wood, Billy? I say keep the wood, too. Much cooler to have a cool, fast woody than a plain-sided car. | |
