Used gears? 75 bucks or so. I mean they're only like $125-150 new...

Is it a good idea to run used gears? I always figured getting used gears that weren't installed perfectly the first time would cause an issue down the road. I'm a bit of a worrier though.

Gear wear is very visible if you know what your looking at. The set I just sold had 30k on them, and looked almost new.

If the gears are ok and you have an experienced installer, shouldn't have any problems.

No problem putting the gears in. My brother is a GM Master Tech. He can't wait for me to start tinkering with the car. I need to get some pics of his CJ7 with the LT1 in it. The thing is pretty sick. What a Face
