 Heater core feed hose

My Heater core feed hose blew at this round plastic peice and an aluminum crimped sleeve. I'm not sure what it is, it looks like it has a spring inside of it. Help!!

That is a pressure reducer. I have in the past cut that out and in its place put a peice of 1/2 copper pipe and clamps until I could replace the hose.

Yeah, it's just a flow restrictor to protect the heater core at WOT. You can still get them cheap from GM. But the regular garden hose repair kit will get you by for now. Wink
