Its not a Caprice or Impala ss, i got a 99 P71 CV SAP package yesturday, came from the local SO, unmarked, was the sheriffs personal car, then Civils, 90k, she's a bit flaky underneith, bad ball joint, dash doesn't work, and it needs fenders on the front. Didn't pay much for it, i traded out some work to the SO for it. I been trying for 4 years to get this car, its black, grey interior, full strobe package though (hope they don't want it back) i'm going to keep this one i think, its no Caprice, but it rides like a dream.

GM lovers can say what they want, but with the exception of raw power the P71 has it over the 9C1 I think.

The 9c1 will outhandle te p71 also, but the ride and comforts make the p71 much more bearable on the long runs I think, bt if I'm gonna raise hell, give mea caprice or impala ss any day

Does your 99 have the axle code DK on the drivers door?
