| I've got two days to get this thing completely taken apart and off the lift.
Anyone feel like coming by the shop and giving me a hand?
--
Also I need some steelies or doughnut wheels as cheap as possible to get the car rolling.
Thanks! | |

| I did my intake yesterday. I said if anything goes wrong with it - the car is toast.
It leaked.
I hafta put the car away for 8 months anyway. I was NOT gonna do the intake again in the spring. So.... Part it out, combine part out money with book money, buy wagon.
That's my plan....
I will be keeping the hood and a few other goodies. I'll start a parts thread soon.

| Bummer Bill. Might want to rethink it...
That said, I may be interested in the sway bars and rear LCA's...

| Theres no rethinking it. It's in a million pieces already.
The body is remarkably solid. No visible rust anywhere in the trunk or door jambs or floor.
I've got one rust free lower quarter panel too. Passenger side. Does anyone have interest in that? I don't have the tools to cut it off with.

| And I'm not going anywhere. As soon as I find a good deal on a B-Body that I like, I will be buying a new one. | |

| I wish I had the money. I still need to get Doug money on a rear and my harddrive is starting to die on my pc. Notice how the good deals always show up when there's no money to be found. If I manage to sell off my extra parts and they're still around I might hit you up for them. I'd rather the hood though | |

| Wow Bill, sorry to see that you are tearing her down. I imagine you are keeping the aftermarket stuff for your next B-body?
Good luck, if I was closer and not balls deep in building a garage, I would lend a hand. I'm getting pretty good at tearing these things apart.

You can buy my Impala in the spring, Fishah. Trust me; that thought has crossed my mind. I really do want a wagon, but I really do also want your Impala lol. - Pooge wrote:

Yea. That's the plan. - onehunglo wrote:

Matt I apreciate the offer. I'm just about finished though. Hopefully I should have the engine and trans out tonight. Interior is gone. After that it's mostly minor stuff to wrap up. And figuring out a way to get all this stuff to my house. hehe. - BoSStonsSS wrote:

Sorry Rich. As of right now the plan is to keep the springs for the next car. Of course, that will all depend on what parts my new car alreaddy has.

| Not that I have a dime to my name or anything, but how much for just the bodyshell with windshield and rear glass? No doors, no trunk lid, no front clip, no frame, no dash, no wiring, just the bodyshell? |

| BillyMac - Come and get her. She's yours. I need it gone ASAP though. You gotta take whatever is left on it right now though. Few Wires and a few other things.
Only problem is I sorta need somewhere to put the frame if I'm getting rid of the body... Want the frame too?

| If it turns out your separating frame from body, I need the upper body mounts & bolts. Let me know. Still cant believe you broke that car down. | |

| Maybe we can enlist the services of Doug (Pooges) Trailer? He's good at moving these carcases around.
Since your getting the body for so cheap.... Maybe there is some room to grease his wheels a little bit for motivation?

| That would be great! It would work out for everyone.
If we can do this though, lets get try and get some plans set in stone as soon as possible.
I need to arrange a tow truck to come if ya'll aren't. Like I told B.Mac, it's gotta be gone by Sunday.

| Hey Doug, if your running over to Fishah's with the truck then I may be able to grab the rear from you at his place, if it tags along for the ride. That way you make some money off of the trip | |
