| Started smelling coolant while sitting in traffic today. Some of you may know how I've replace the Intake gasket on my car 4 times already. I knew it was leaking a little bit.... but never got bad.
I've known my WP has had a spun bearing for a while also.
Decided to replace both of them today at work. Mostly because I got the pump and Intake set for the grand total of $48.
Went pretty smoothly this time - mostly with Warrens (Our shops mechanic) help. We used a Ford RTV. Warren said it's his favorite.
I'm kind of afraid to fill it with coolant and turn it on. Part of me wants to let it sit overnight. What do you guys think?
Anyway, I hope this is the last time I ever do this.. I only regret not replacing the timing chain while I was in there. Oh well.

| We should be asking YOU how to do this by now! I like Permatex "The Right Stuff" cuz it sets up quick and works great. It also happens to dry the same metallic charcoal color that I like to paint my engines. | |
