 Powdercoat Impala SS wheels?

PostSubject: Powdercoat Impala SS wheels?   Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:40 pm

Have a set of SS wheels here with no center caps- they have some clearcoat damage starting but they're straight and aren't curbed, basically driver quality.

Has anyone ever powdercoated these? I was thinking they'd look cool powdercoated with metallic silver or something (can you get metallic powdercoat?)

I was also thinking of stripping them and using my PBM with some metal polish to see what happens.

Billy Mac powdercoated his gloss black. I will be PC'ing mine over the winter in "Almost Chrome" for the Marshmallow, so it looks like my polished stainless. Smile
