So, anyone wanna come down and work on their car? You can use the lifts, tire machine & balancer, welder, scan tool, whatever.

Kinda like an impromptu mod day.

bill i might come down. id need a lift. id have to pull off the inner fender and do some sealing. around the fire wall. what time you going to open up? id be there early.

yes by the white insulation. no never heard from jason. sent him a e-mail on issf. ive got my dash panels off so theres access to the wiring for my trunk release. so i might bring it down like that in case some one knows how to fix it. i tell you what. your man. warren? hes good size i thought by looking at the pics billymac sent. how he ever did those pedals and wiring ill never know. i tried to get under there yesterday. man thats tight. i hope billymac can make it so he can measure my console. if any one wants to convoy lmk.

HAha yea. Maybe that's why I kept hearing Warren swearing and cussing from the shop.

What did you get that's better than the white stuff? What were you planning to do?

have to have that inner fender off to put any thing on. and really do it right. silicon would be ok to use. i had went out and bought that stuff electricians use to seal around meter boxes. never hardeneds. but i think ill use some white silicion i have. kinda of blends in. can you get in touch with jason?

Put the selector switch that used to be on the column in Nuetral. Then your trunk pop will work.

thanks bill. i had been under there yesterday. pia. the part that has the shifter nylon string wasn snapped into place so i put that together. so now i can move the part where the shifter handle used to be. and see the red indicator. in the little windows. but i thought i tried that bill .ill go out in awhile and see if i can see some thing else. i dont even know if its evening getting power to it. i do know if the column part isnt all the way up where park used to be you cant get the key out. ill keep you posted.

ok i followed bills. info. so i go out to look again. half way to the car it started to rain. fck. im going any ways. got under the dash again. lo and behold i found the neutral safety switch wire tied to a bunch of wires. so i put it in park. wire tied it up good out of the way. now my trunk release works again. all fixed. didnt even care if i am soaked. im still planning on coming down sat bill.
