| Hey guys, I picked up the 9C1 from BottleBird (No motor/trans), I am buying it simply for the frame, but I would like to make my money back on buying it and picking it up. Rear end: $150 Everything else: No more than $25! Seats, door panels, Hood, trunk, fenders, you name it and it's $25 or less! Only thing is you have to come get it. PM me with your needs and when you can get over here. | |

| If I had someone who could put it in for me I'd buy the rear in a second. Where are you located again cause I can use some little things. | |

| I'm on a fixed income which doesn't allow me much "play" money. Otherwise you guys would be doing my suspension work for me too. I'd need to get the rear + the driveshaft and then have it installed all for under $250 to even consider it right now. After I pay off my suspension parts I'll have a chance to save up for shop labor. | |

Surprisingly good shape. the 1/4s have the typical rot at the very bottom, but better than most I have seen, there are dings here and there, but all in all it is pretty solid... - mean ss wrote:

I seam to recall it being decent, I will be at my property tomorrow, where the car is located, and I will check it out and PM you. Doug

I will give you $25 for the body shell. After I sell what everyone else wants, I'll happily sell it to you for $25 - bammax wrote:

| My first mechanic fell through because there's no room to work after he buys a shell off some guy for $25 I'll see what it runs to have Fishah do the install for me and go from there. | |

| I'm going to need a price on the rear plus the driveshaft which I think I'll need too for this swap. If there is anything else involved in going from the 7 to 8.5 rear then I'll need that too. This may turn out very well for everyone since my transporter needs to hit you up for parts anyway | |

pretty much it . if its a disc rear u may want to redo the brakes n everthing to make sure it all work correctly, can get away with the exsisting porportioning valve and m/b cyl, but may not hurt to have it from the donner car

| Brad,
I think M/C and Prop valve are the same.....?
All you need is the Axle and Driveshaft.
Granted, it would be a good idea to replace pads, rotors, (maybe calipers) as well as U-Joints and maybe brake lines.

| i dont even know what these parts are going on to. but if you have drum brakes on the rear now. youve got to change the brake lines. where they hook up to calipers for the rear disk. at least i did. when i put mine on. i went with stainless braided lines. and i still have the line that goes up top of the axle to the junction near body. they didnt change it. kinda upset me. but when you have your axle out would be a good time to install the one i have. lmk if you want it ok? | |

| remember too that the brake line has a european bubble end at the caliper and a sae on the other, took mine to a/zone and bent it up and reflared the sae end using the old ones as a template, then painted the with that por 15 stuff, iceman i can understand why they didnt change that one line ... its a royal pia ,i think it took me longer to that than the swap itself.. lol | |

| Ron there is a simple trick to doing the rear line, they just have to pull the clip off and pull the line thru the frame then put the flare wrench on it | |

| no i didnt know that about the brake line. i bought my complete rear disk set up from e-bay. came with every thing. then i have my friend who owns meineke muffler install my parts. i do know that por coating is about the best. and not only does he install my parts he gives me a break on the labor. and if im a little short he lets me charge it. thats why i keep going back. they put in my eaton posi with the 4.11 gears. perfect no whine or any thing. but he couldnt put that tranny in for what bill did it for. now that rear set up you posted the pic of. is that in yours now? that looked good. all i did to mine. was put on a jegs bearing support cover. cleaned it up a little bit. and sprayed it with 3m under coating. maybe when i have my lower control arms put on. ill do a better job. | |

| The master is the same as what I have. I'll need the rear-end, driveshaft, and e-brake cable. I'll get new u joints from one of the part places unless Fishah wants to get them through whoever they go through at work. The new pads and lines will have to wait till later. I'm already over budget if I go through with this plan. I'll have a deffinite quote on Monday or Tuesday and let everyone know from there.
I'll also start spraying everything down with pb blaster in advance so hopefully everything comes apart easy once the car gets to the shop.

I have done it in about two and a half on jack stands, and about an hour and a quarter or so in the air. 10 bolts, 4 driveshaft, 2 for shocks, and 4 upper and lower control arms, two brake lines, and ebrake cable. |
